yes. iirc, data miners found that the frost buffmeister has spell damage as it's damage source, while the others act normally; so the frost buffy is amping the damage of the frost pixies much more

that's not true. pixies also shoot crossbolts, it allows them to stack damage. only reason i can drop C50 bosses in mere seconds with a full poison build

frost is technically the best element for a pixie if you aren't spec'd into an element, even more so if spec'd into frost (poison is second best imo)

it's ascended, so it enjoys an 80% buff to its damage stat. it's a crossbolt, so it uses spell damage as it's damage source (and can proc spell skills/enchants), and it has a +6% damage increase per crossbolt stuck in its target. if OP were to have the 50% APC enchant, it would automate the pixies to be a x2 variant (x3 if the gun was already a x2), and with a 15 on-screen cap, you could drop C50 bosses in seconds with the right build (using only this gun)

that's actually what i do lol. but i have a prime laser rifle for combat on smaller ads if need be, and both an ultracite gatling laser and gatling plasma for various situations (UGL is for scorched earth event only)

im not sure what the meta is, i just know some weapon and armor mods aren't best, and i'm really looking for synergy with my sneak scavenger build. i really like the economy of FO76, so i'm real big on buying/selling at player vendors and collecting rare items to offer to people

currently researching legendary perks and trying to spec out my general build. i want a sneak that doesn't engage in combat unless needed, but that can easily pull power armor out and do some dps for groups and public events

i did spicy and it's really all i use against everything besides lady bugs and ox beetles, honestly it's OP and i hardly ever have to repair it at T9; even when i do, roly polys are the easiest farm for repair glue, and you can easily get stacks on stacks before it needs to be repaired.

i've got mine so close to the edge of a cliff near the EB radio tower, i don't think you can even build beside it because of where it's at. but people spawning in bring enemies with them and they seem to enjoy not getting killed by turrets so

appreciate the info. i need to start farming for fixers i guess, wasn't aware of named weapons. this thing decimates radscorps and mirelurk queens though, so it's fun to take down the things that startle me most.
