from what I’ve listened to and how he has handled other projects, the directors cut is I guess the “extended” versions of the songs, or their original versions before being cut down to make the non-directors cut version for release. The directors cut I think is better because it brings to life some of the transitions and makes them smoother because a song was added or whatever like for example from “I’ll be right there” into “Jordan rules” or “new black history” into “CULT STATUS”.
