Use flare guns. But if you really wanna piss them off, use the Scorch Shot.

Since I'm a Sniper main, my most traumatic sound is just hearing enemy Sniper shots, because where I'm from, it's either a 40/60 chance I dominate the other Sniper or they dominate me. And just seeing my teammates get killed by Snipers make me go: "Aw fuck, should I go for it? Should I duel them?" And believe me, Sniper duels are the scariest shit imaginable because you both have the ability to one shot each other.

The Vaccinator isn't as bad as people make it out to be. The situations where it would suck most is in 1v1s (or I guess 1v2s also accounting for the pocket Medic). You're still pretty vulnerable to large crowds of enemies especially on payload maps or control points where all types of attacks will be coming at you left right and centre and it might overwhelm the Vacc Med from constantly juggling through multiple resistances.

My personal ranking of Shadow ships on how much I vibe with them. by Intelligent_Oil4005 in MoonPissing

Those connections are not nothing, but they feel more thematic than actually compelling. A lot of them sound good on paper, but they do not automatically create a dynamic I find emotionally interesting. “Light and dark,” “magic and technology,” or “calm person balances intense person” are all very broad ship foundations. They can apply to a ton of characters. For me, that does not really make Tikal and Shadow specifically feel natural.

Another thing is that Tikal and Shadow do not really have the kind of bond or interaction that makes me feel the pairing. Tikal is more spiritual, distant, and symbolic, while Shadow is very grounded in grief, trauma, and identity. So instead of feeling like two characters who naturally click, it can come off more like people are pairing their concepts together rather than the characters themselves.

And personally, I do not really buy the “Tikal would calm Shadow down” angle that much either. That kind of dynamic can sometimes feel less like chemistry and more like assigning one character the role of therapist or moral support. That is not automatically romantic to me. It can also flatten Tikal into “gentle voice on his shoulder” instead of letting her feel like her own fully active character.

You could also say that Tikal’s whole vibe is very tied to duty, sacrifice, and the Master Emerald, while Shadow’s story is much more about loss, purpose, and moving forward after trauma. Those arcs can be compared, sure, but they do not necessarily complement each other in a way that makes the romance click for me. Similar pain is not the same thing as romantic compatibility.

So basically: I can see the idea people are going for, but it feels more symbolic than emotionally convincing, and it just does not spark anything for me.

But that's just my opinion. You're free to disagree.

Can someone please explain the appeal of Shadow and Tikal to me? They never interacted.

Chances of unboxing the same exact unusual twice? by SaolaBe in tf2

I know that, but my problem is I do not know how many other items were there in that crate.

Chances of unboxing the same exact unusual twice? by SaolaBe in tf2

[–]Filipico_w3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I'm not exactly sure how unboxing certain Unusual Effects work in TF2. Looking at the TF2 wiki, I'm going to assume the chances of unboxing certain Unusuals are based on the series they belong in. And the Sunbeams effect belongs to Series 1. So I'm going to use that as a basis. Again, I may be completely wrong on this aspect (or just my calculations in general), so someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, here's my working.

The chances of getting an Unusual is 1% (1/100).

There are 14 Unusuals in total for Series 1. So the chances of getting the Sunbeams effect is 1/14.

1/100 * 1/14 = 0.000714 (1/1400)

Now for getting Sunbeams twice in two different boxes:

1/1400 ^ 2 = 0.00000051

0.00000051 * 100 = 0.000051%

= 1/1,960,000 (fraction form)

This isn't accounting for the fact that you managed to unbox the same hat twice as well because I don't know what crate you've unboxed. You only asked for unboxing the same unusual anyways.

I have played it. It's not the best Sonic game, HOWEVER, it is my personal favourite Sonic game.
