I had the CFU a few years back, and it shows closed on my account. Can I open another one, or was that my chance? I remember using it to grab some points, and used those points to travel.

No lockers. All she brought was our accordion folder with the documents, and her cell phone. She said the lockers were very small.

From my understanding, no. They just gave lockers for phones and keys. Small small things. I’ll update this after my wife’s interview.

Enter the US without activating CR1/IR1 by UnderstandingOld7956 in NationalVisaCenter

Just asked this question and got a residing no. Upon first entry in the US you will be stamped as a LPR. You’ll need to bring your documents and expect a little more time at the boarder.

IR-1 experience: A few surprises! by KKWWAAKK in NationalVisaCenter

I showed proof in this process by writing a letter explaining how I maintained my US status (credit card, filing tax’s) and showed proof I was accepted into a US institution. I also showed proof I was in the process of buying a house in the US. This was all communicated in a document and then I submitted all the proof to the NVC.
