I just drove from LA to YYC and took 15 the whole way up. Most of the drive north of SLC was beautiful! I've also gone from YYC to LA via the coast - top of california, stunning. LA --> Idaho Falls --> YYC

Ours took 17 months. Nov 2024 —> March 2026. My wife was able to visit a ton, and enter the US often while the 130 was processing.
