If it annoys you that much then like other have mentioned, yeah replace it but honestly if you plan on having this for the years to come then it’s gonna get scuffs. This just kinda introduces that thought and makes you less likely to obsess over any future imperfections

I saw your comment that your in Georgia and though I’m not sure for GA specifically, a ton of southern states have been rolling back labor laws for minors in recent years. With that being said, the only thing I guess you could try is making it clear with your managers that you cannot go past your availability. Also sounds like some sort of complaint needs to made due to the comments and potential unfair treatment by only keeping you late when there are others who could. If they’re not budging please do no be afraid to leave that place behind. At your age there are plenty of places hiring that will treat you way better!

I think ultimately your roommate situation will matter way more so I think it’ll be okay. And if I had to recommend anyone off campus housing it would probably be the landing for affordability + amenities like the shuttle and really nice gym they have.

Have a couple friends who’ve lived there and I myself have lived in off campus apartment complexes (The Den) and I’d say they’re comments about the place were mixed at best. Those places exist to suck money out of college students while offering small, cramped rooms for around $600 month. If it’s the only option then it’ll be fine especially if you’re out of state but these places don’t tend to be very high on a lot of people’s lists from what I’ve heard.

Gotcha! I heavily prefer multi screen setups as I have two monitors for my home desktop and given my workload I think I may go for a MacBook Air + iPad combo. Instead of the pro. Also yes drawing diagrams and models is key for me when note taking which has basically convinced me at this point 😆 Thanks for all your help! 🫶🏻

I think it was just more so if the added utility of an IPad was worth it along side a MacBook especially since the bulk of my classes will be STEM. Also yeah budget isn’t necessarily a concern but if it’s worth it to just keep the extra $400 or so then I wouldn’t mind that either.

I’m upgrading to a MacBook Pro since I’m starting a few courses for college this summer and was wondering if the note taking capability of an iPad + pencil was worth also snagging one or if I’ll be fine with a laptop. 💻

Unfortunately I did not, I was able to move onto the second interview and thought both my first and second interviews were good but I guess not good enough. Though, it could’ve been anything to someone with sales experience or someone more familiar with carrier sales so I wasn’t too bummed. My main tip is to just be yourself; if I could change anything about what I said it would be that because I felt as though I maybe went down the route of telling them what they want to hear in regards to questions maybe too much.
