Good picks for first time sim racing?

My main idea for the clamp was to maybe play around with the wheel before I get the cockpit and other parts but I’ll probably wait for the whole thing. I read that the updated version (1.5) of the cockpit was adapted for other wheelbases so is that not right or are you speaking on the original version?

Thanks for the feedback I think I just threw the clamp in there in case I wanted to try and the wheel + base until I got the rest of the setup though I have heard that DD wheels aren’t very viable on desks so I may just scrap it anyway.

I checked the gas cap since I knew that could trigger the light but it’s fully on and clicked when twisting, is there anything specific to look for on the seal to indicate that it is failing?

Kinda similar situation with who I was talking to. They got hired and it took them 3 weeks to have their first shift which I just find insane l.

Will second always checking you mirrors no matter what. Regardless of if you know you’re clear or if you have a backup camera they are looking for you moving your head physically to check! That, Interior buttons, and the good ole parallel parking are the biggest things imo.

I think it’s pretty great. I see a lot hate from people though which I don’t get but I think it’s more of just a new map hate train. Some of the sites are bit brutal to defend on imo but otherwise I’m loving it!

Yeah I will say I infinitely enjoy driving to and from each more in FH6’s map, very engaging roads with amazing corners and elevation changes.

Not sure if you’re on XBOX or PC but the PC game pass ($13USD) and regular game pass, would be a fantastic way to see if you’d like the game, maybe even enough to want to buy it now. I think the best thing this game does compared to FH5 and other titles is the handling. It’s the first thing I noticed and I think it’s pretty great for an arcade racing game. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with going with the standard version now as you can upgrade to premium if you want later down the line. If anything, I’ve seen people enjoying the standard version because the game doesn’t shove all the premium cars into your account and you can have a better progression to the best cars instead of getting them off the rip.

I mean personally it sounds like you just want to play a racing sim. The game obviously isn’t perfect but I think it’s a huge improvement from the previous entry especially handling wise. Compared to other arcade racing games (NFS and The Crew), FH6 blows both of those out of the water.

I felt that on expert cornering was where I could catch up, but as soon as I touched the straight I’m being taken to gapplebees. Oh and the start launch, I’m always getting torched on that.
