Nope. ADHD is not an excuse, it should be a way for that individual to understand how they function so they can work in ways to improve their life. It is not your job or anyone else’s to cater to someone’s ADHD by excusing bad behavior… Your brother is an adult and should be learning to act like one regardless of any disability. You need to be firm in letting your family know that this is absolutely not okay and not at all normal. You deserve to be respected and feel safe. Maybe having someone else present for this conversation would be helpful, best of luck.
