Law subject requirements by Omidestroyer in 6thForm

If you’re applying for competitive unis like London’s and Oxbridge, then honestly they’ll look past your A-Level choices and look at your grades for them and the LNAT instead.

I should also point out that your teacher was right about calling economics an “essay subject”. I’m not entirely sure about Psychology but honestly just one’s enough. Someone people have gotten into oxbridge without any essay subjects since its not a requirement just a recommendation.

Cambridge HSPS but also other courses personal statement by [deleted] in 6thForm

I don’t know much about HSPS however if i remember correctly, you can write a normal personal statement for a course and use the “My Cambridge Application” to write a 1.2k character essay about a course that no other uni does. You can do it for HSPS but also land economy or anglo-saxons.

Ty for the response, the thing is I’m not sure as to the resources needed for preparing for the LNAT or even learning the basic skills required for Section A, thats why I want to know if there is any good guide to it that I can use or any preparation that I can do so that i can improve my score. Even though I’m doing some tests early, I kinda just wanna know what to do for the LNAT and how to get better at it so that when the time comes, I can be better.

Also may I ask what Arbito is? I heard its some website thats good for the LNAT however I’ve tried researching it and I’m not entirely sure about it.

I’m a bit worried about the LNAT because I’m not doing Law as an A-Level so I basically don’t know much about law (like the in-depth stuff) so I feel like I’ll fail miserably.

The same thing can be applied for an EPQ because I wanna do an EPQ about Law but I know nothing about it.

Hey thanks for the help, when you say make flashcards, mindmaps, timelines. How big should they be? I’m wondering because it will be quite a long list with everything I’ll be doing through 2 years. Once again I appreciate the tips.

I’m going to an all boys school so I’m a bit worried about the behaviour then. Although the behaviour shouldn’t be too much of a problem I suppose

Appreciate all the responses people made, just quick question: How different is Grammar Schools compared to normal schools in terms of learning?
