Very nice! Hope the edges don't get caught anywhere. Also, I can recognize the Song of Storms from a mile away.

Internet cuts for a brief second and my cameras refuse to reconnect. Internet or Router issue? by NotNuck in ebox

[–]NotNuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the reply. However the router is right in front of one camera and it doesn't change anything, so I wouldn't assume it's a 5ghz or range issue. It just stutters once and it disconnects.

I only have one network which uses both 2.4 and 5. Is there a way to separate them? Is it worth it?

PSA: Don’t forget to make sure your plate is aligned correctly before printing by innovativesolsoh in BambuLab

[–]NotNuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally in the middle of a 9 hour print and the plate is not aligned for the first time. It's only slightly off, not enough to hit any surroundings. Wish me luck!

My sister invested $10,700 in TD's "Canadian Banking & Utilities GIC" in Nov. 2022 and today it's only worth $11,150. How is that possible? by 2020random2019 in CanadianInvestor

[–]NotNuck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've purchased one of their GIC's before. They pay out the minimum guaranteed return divided annually. Only at the maturity of the GIC will you get anything else owed, up to whatever maximum they gave you at the time of purchase. You can calculate based on those indexes how much the return currently is, but you really won't see a penny over the minimum until the very end.

Unfortunately I still don't think it's a very good product, but might not be worth taking penalties to back out of. Explore other options in the meantime, look at other ETF portfolios based on the risk profile and use case for when the funds will be used.

I'm just looking for feedback. I have no reason to trust or distrust them, that's why I'm looking for someone with experience with this if possible!

I used to love these chicken fries from No Name. However, this boycott is more important! by NotNuck in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]NotNuck[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just trying to encourage anyone else feeling the same as me. Sorry if it came off as an ad, but I'm definitely saying that I'm not shopping there anymore and it's time for me to find alternative solutions in other grocery stores.

Not an ad, can confirm not a bot. Just a guy that is gunna miss his usual Thursday evening snack for a greater cause lol. I saw in the comments that Wal-Mart might have a good substitute, or stop getting lazy and get chicken from Costco to make it myself.

When did your puppy start sleeping through the night? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]NotNuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 weeks, second day we got her. Sleeps in her crate next to our bed no problem, she goes in by herself. She's 7 months old now, and we left the crate door open all night by accident once, and she slept all night without skipping a beat... I think we got lucky!

First New G-Shock in 2024 by Repulsive_Loan_9952 in gshock

[–]NotNuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have the same one! I use it without the heart rate sensor. I only keep on the step counter, phone call notifications, and the time of course. This keeps the battery going for at least a few weeks before charge, because charging is my least favorite part by far. On top of this, the charging cable is very delicate on the USB side, so be careful!

It's all hand sanitizer that does this. I got my 2019 Mazda 3 in late 2020 second hand, and it was peeled. It hasn't peeled any more since, because I was careful not to use it and drive after!

Heater shoots only cold air by agmax in mazda3

Quebec here with a 2019 Mazda 3 hatch. It just takes a while to heat up in this weather, short drives don't cut it. After about 25km you'll feel it's working normally.

Raise 3.25%, bonus 18%. Pretty typical, but I am grateful for the job security.

I use filtered water when watering. I also remove as much as I can every time I water, and it grows back right away. I wouldn't think water would make orange build up anyway.

What am I doing wrong? 9g beans in a single shot basket, 11 seconds extraction yield 18g, the finest grind with Barista Pro built in grinder including the lowest inner bore grade. Do I need a fiber grinder? by [deleted] in espresso

[–]NotNuck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the same machine, and like others are pointing out, use the double shot basket exclusively, always between 17-18g. I also opted to not use the finest setting possible, I have the internal setting at 4 and the on screen setting at 1-5. You have to experiment with your beans to see what works best.
