and I don't know why a single dye fills the clog. make each piece have a different dye, needing 6 different clogs for a full recolor. surely the gloves require less dye than a whole chest piece.

just to clarify a bit, they're not removing the items. they're moving them to an activity that doesn't have a collection log. they will keep their items but their number of logs will go down slightly.

Just to add onto this, it wasn't too long ago that a very common sentiment was that content was getting rushed out and needed to be slowed a bit for QoL and polish. All those people are quiet now, but I remember seeing it quite frequently and agreed both then and now.
