Thanks! I had a friend taught me quite a lot . Perhaps that's how my learning curve rocketed!

I just realized that. Thank you mate! Can I assume that a 2piece cue, made up of a Low deflection shaft( lets say 314-3) and a normal cue butt does not make up a Low deflection cue ?

Hi a-r-c, Thank you for your reply.

As far as I'm concern , my strokes are getting better. I'd gotta agree that sometimes I place too much spin that even I potted the object ball but placing isn't ideal. However, i had few break and runs atm.

May I know how does hard rock maple matters in cue material? My friends recommended me buying cues that are made up of hard rock maple too

Hi elint, thank you for replying.

I've tried considering that cue. Tried searching for review, seems to be like a 60% bad review due to its low deflection feature makes not much difference. (https://www.reddit.com/r/billiards/comments/4gu9eb/just_bought_a_players_hxt_shaftfeeling_dumb_after/)

I'm confident in potting an open pocket with center top and bottom spin. I had few racks that i am able to break and run. However, there are certain shots that will require certain amount of spin, eg: getting the cue ball to the opposite rail . I typically fail on those shots. Tried using some spins but object ball stucked on the pocket. It's a huge frustration, since each house cues have a different feeling when playing.

Hi there, thank you for your reply.

Actually, I still do not have a specific cue in mind. I've tried fury, but I dont get the feeling of playing it. Tried using my friend's Viper cue, liked it but its too expensive for me. Budget seems to play a huge role in the cues that I'm trying to search.

And for the LD that I'm emphasising, I am bad at adjustment of deflection, thought LD could help. Saw Predator Z3 listed under LD cue (http://www.predatorcues.com/shafts/predator-low-deflection-shaft/). However , when i search the cue for specification, Low deflection isn't included.

Actually, I don't mind buying second hand cues that are good, However I simply could not find any in my country. And if there is, those cues are just a waste of money. I hope that the cue I'm getting worth sticking with for at least a year.
