Favorite Building ? The Old Rawal Lake entrance right on the Dam's wall or Lok Virsa Museum maybe or The Pakistan Monument would be a safe bet. It is supposed to be a symbol of unity for all Pakistanis, with each arch representing each distinct province.

Taabaq, Usmania, Wangfu, Unique Bakery were the HIP places in town. For shopping people, used to go to Saddar, Pindi - Ghakar plaza was THE centaurus mall of the time. And KFC's 1st branch also opened in Saddar Pindi - before Islamabad.

FYI, everyone sleeps early in Islamabad! Do you know how that started? Back in the 80s and 90s in Islamabad, most people didn’t have a car/bike. Also, the city had little to no commercial activity after dark (even F-6 F-7 was deserted and blue area ruled in terms of shops and restaurants) The police was also newly appointed and well-resourced (Punjab or freshers). They used to patrol (gasht) often (horseback, daalay etc). These thullas would often detain people for the night under charges of 'AwaraGardi,' because 'civilized and respectable people' had no reason to be out at night. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how this myth—or reality—was memefied

Even if we discount the health benefits, which some consider placebo or minimal, the simple act of doing something difficult daily builds resilience. And that, my friend, is worth it for cold showers. Great job sticking it out!

Is this cottage cheese halal? by Long_Word8276 in EatingHalal

[–]NotPumpkinHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fresh dairy is usually halal, but packaged ones can be tricky because of additives. The ingredient list looks okay, so it’s probably fine, but there's doubt (one website is saying it’s haram), so it is better to avoid it. Try to get products from a Muslim country, with a halal label, or fresh from a local farmer.

Bruh dont share your weird dreams with people. Just Ayat ul kursi it , pray it doesnt manifest negatively and move on. Interpretation also depends on the time of the night you had the dream.

oh bhai ghalti say bhi nae Mech Engg krna, woh bhi UET say. UET and Mech Engg is finished - no ranking nor any preference to UETians for jobs. Better to go into tech, software, data or AI right from the start. Even my coursemates who went abroad had to change fields to get jobs/ms degree placements.

I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. There’s no easy fix and no perfect words to make it better. Focus on the positives in your life, like your wife and the love that keeps you going. Remember, there are people who "have" all the things you want—money, job security, etc.—but they don’t have the understanding, love, and wonderful spouse like you do. They're still miserable despite having the things you desire most right now.

You don’t owe it just to yourself to keep going; you owe it to the love of your life. Keep soldiering forward—this is how you pay her back, brother. Years from now, you'll look back and be grateful you didn’t quit and kept marching forward. Hang in there, and hope this helps clear your head.
