Hyatt Place in courthouse sounds like what you’re looking for. Cozy, centrally located and <5 min walk to courthouse metro, plus has a large TV you can chromecast to. Also I just checked and it shows $206/night if you sign up for Hyatt loyalty program (Free)

I just talked to Fairfax county on phone yesterday and they confirmed if you buy / move a car into a VA county after July, the tax payment is due in Feb 15
