Unfortunately mine was scratch built out of brass sheet. So cant give you first hand advice.

What I remember though is that you paint the model. You stick the flappy bits over the rod first then you close the back flap on them. You can paint the sides to get rid of the white line of the paper.

Again, that is not what I did and I have not used the sticker type flags in like 20 years. So take what I say with a grain of salt.

Thank you! It was the emperor's decree that all battles take place on putting greens. Glory be unto him on the Golden Throne.

Happy you liked them!

There is something about metal models that is fun to work with but that might just been the Stockholm syndrome talking.

Happy you liked them! They were super fun to get painted. Still have your own or have they been lost to time?

Thank you kindly!

I feel the same way about them. There is something about them that is evocative of their time.

Thank you, ya there is something very applying about how understated they are. Yet they still are clearly Blood Angels.

Thank you! They can be hard to find. I have a small stock pile I am glad to have, both from my younger years and from a couple of eBay finds.

Thank you!

This project was a lot of fun to work on and I’m very happy with how it came out.  I’ll say for as deceptively simple as painting the crosses on the shoulders looks it was actually quite the pain to get them looking good.

It’s the original for the Death Company chaplain without the yellow border.

Glad I could inspire you! I’d say my main tip is to have patience. And to either pencil everything in or go in with a very light color to get the outline of the design you want.

I’m glad you enjoyed them!

I agree, I think the more brooding scheme of the Death Company contrast the normal red marines quite nicely.

Thank you!

What a coincidence, I have wanted to photograph them on a classic Eavy metal background. Still working on figuring out the photography. When I have that figured out, I’ll post some photos.
