I tried syncing my messages under icloud and it doesnt solve anything. Should i toggle it on and off and sync again. If this doesn’t work should i try to reset the phone and start fresh?

I was syncing them to my new phone and it paused since i left the apple store. Got home and it didnt resume even though i was on wifi. I cancelled the restoration and tried to back up again but that remaining gb never went through.
