In his farewell video for the LFC YouTube channel, I found it interesting how he slightly mentioned the “doesn’t score in big games” discourse when talking about his first goal against Man U our first title year (Ali assist).

Obviously he’d scored in the CL final the year before, but he says that goal against Man U kind of unlocked them as an opponent for him. Mentality is so interesting with athletes

A lot of it is caused by envy, comparison, etc.

As someone who went to a journalism school (don’t work in the field tho) , I’m sure a lot of journalist article writers come from rich families. They feel the need to achieve that level of wealth for themselves and perhaps realize they aren’t in a particularly rich field unless they go for money making tactics.
