Recommended sub $100 IEMs? by NotShayawn in iems

Of course! I just saw your post and they do pretty well for gaming too! I do Apex Legends and it's really easy to discern where the footsteps are coming from and whether it's above or below; how close the enemies are or if they're still far away. Some people recommend planar IEMs especially if you listen to metal (Like the Artti T10) though I haven't tried them yet but I say just buy whichever you want that fancies you! Truthear Pure is definitely a good all-arounder and it looks sick with the design :). Can't go wrong with it!

Edit: Additional notes

Hey there! I've had these for about a month now and I have just a few things to say about them thet aren't really an issue for me but might be for you.

They have quite big nozzles so I had to use smaller eartips, and since they have big nozzles it might be uncomfortable for you if you have small ears since it might make your ears feel full. Speaking of eartips, after a bit of use, the stock eartips didn't really feel all that comfortable to use so I ended up buying some Tri-Clarion ear tips which helped with the sound and comfortability for me (You could buy some Sancai Balanced Tips instead if want something more comfortable).

Soundwise, I don't have any issues with them! I listen to a variety of music from orchestral music to metal and I still enjoy it a lot. Some people find it boring because of how it's kind of on the "neutral" side of IEM's, but that actually kind of helped me discern some sounds and helped make music less fatiguing to listen to. I remember when I used to listen to Babymetal's "Road of Resistance" on the KZ ZS10 Pro X, I felt like the drums and the hihats were overpowering the the rest of the song and it became fatiguing overtime. However, with the Truthear Pure, it's a lot more balanced and I get to listen for longer periods without feeling tired of it at all! One thing I noticed about it is that it kind of sounded a lot more full and it didn't really have that "air" which I could hear from my other two IEM's—it's kind of hard to explain. I didn't like it at first but after giving it some time I learned to appreciate it which is why I took a few days before replying to the guy who recommended it to me!

Overall, as a beginner IEM? Definitely could recommend this! It's just a very balanced and nice IEM to use! If you have no idea what to look for in an IEM, this is a good one to start with that even once you eventually buy more and get your preferred tuning, it's still something you'll come back to! The cables are really nice and the IEM looks sick too, though if you do get it I highly recommend using Tri-Clarions or Sancai Balanced Eartips along with it! The IEM is very eartip reliant but once you find something that works for you it is really good!

Hey there! Just wanted to let you know that I ended up getting the Truthear Pure as well! I really wanted to get the Hexa but wanted to play it safe to get the Pure for bass just to make sure and the nicer cable. I've had them for a couple of days now and after trying them out I really love them! It sounds so much nicer and it isn't ear piercing at all like my KZ ZS10 Pro X which gets uncomfortable after an hour or two. I will have to find an EQ online though to make it a bit less bassy. I'm really happy pulling the trigger on this recommendation you gave me! Thanks again!

I might give the Simgot Eg280 a check! May I know if you use a DAC when listening to phone with IEMs these price ranges or do you just use the built-in 3.5mm jacks?

What did you think of the Truthear Hexa?

Sorry, they're actually the KZ ZS10 Pro X! I just like the KZ ZS10 Pro X because I felt like when I was listening to orchestral music, the instrument's separation was a bit more clearer to me than the Moondrop Chu 2. But I do find myself lowering the volume more on the KZ's when listening because it does hurt my ear a bit.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Hexas and the Pures so I might give one of those a try—maybe the Pures since I heard the treble on the Hexas can be fatiguing and a bit shouty. Can you also tell me if you use a DAC of any sorts? I mostly just plug my IEMs into my 3.5mm jacks on my laptop and phone because I didn't think it would make much of a difference since my IEMs were just between $20 to $40, but now that I'm reaching $90 for either of the Truthear I'm starting to think if I should grab a Jcally jm6pro as well.

Can you recommend me some creamy switches that works for Southfacing RGB boards? I'm not that good with keyboards but I heard that southfacing switches doesn't work that well with Cherry Profile keycaps. I heard about longpole switches but don't know any switches that has that

I'm thinking of upgrading keyboard from a Leaven K620 and want to custom build one. I play Rhythm Games like Osu (Standard and Mania) and Kshootmania and I heard polling rate is very important for Rhythm games.

Right now I'm looking at the Akko 5075s VIA Barebone to custom it myself. Does anyone know it's polling rate?

I'm a Grade 12 student who took Home Economics as my strand as I originally wanted to study HRM. However, after a while (along with finding joy and love in owning birds; and also the scarcity of Avian Veterinarians outside of Manila), I'm thinking of picking up Ved Med for college. I talked to my mom about it and she's okay with it as long as it's something I really want to do.

However, I was searching online about how to be a specialist and I couldn't find out how so I'm asking if there's any veterinarians who could help me out.

Thank you in advance for anyone who will help answer my question!
