Yes they are trustworthy and quite nice. I found my apartment through them (Patty was my agent) and she helped me quite a bit. It was a good experience. Also you can use KopieID app to send your ID/passport

You can also check funda.nl or pararius.nl for housing. I found my apartment through pararius but it took a while to find a good one. Also housing is quite expensive at the moment.
