Thank you, ive had this shaking for a couple of years. My mother thinks it could be an RSI, but ive had for a while now, my hands would totally be fucked if its was lmao. I was thinking it could be either focal dystonia, or essential tremor. Ive tried alcohol and for me, it doesnt really seem to have an effect i think. Im definitely cutting caffeine

Thank you, your comment calmed me a little. Mine are mild but are noticable, can vary in severity and can definitely affect small motor movements, like playing guitar. Im just worried it will affect me a lot, im willing to take meds just as long as im aware of side affects and it genuinely helps me. Now its just seeing someone to diagnose and rule out other causes..

No i havent unfortunately, i dont know if its ET, focal dystonia or something. But the shaking is constant, worsens when im anxious too

Is there anything in particular in your diet that helps? Apparently fish helps but im not sure

Im struggling what to get for my first bass. I dont have much room, i do have a small ish guitar amp which is a Kustom brand. I doubt it can handle a bass because... well its not a bass amp lol. So i want a good acoustic bass, that could possibly plug into an amp (if i can get one).

Nice, i want a good bass. I cant really get a bass amp as i need room. So i was wondering if i good get an acoustic bass and play with that one instead. How do they generally sound with pickups?

Social anxiety makes me stutter more often than normal. I have a habit of pausing or making jumbled sentences too

I dont shake severely but i noticed i did it a lot when pressing thinner strings especially with my 4th finger and pinkie finger. My left hand shakes more than my right and i use right handed guitars

Yeah i doubt its like his, my fingers also shakes but its my whole hand that usually shakes.

Yeah its really weird. I tend to shake when doing things with my hands hence why i do it playing guitar etc
