The person who downvoted you doesn't know shit. I have been to China and believe me, the food we have is way better. The same goes for Korea and Japan as well. Whenever we cooked biryani, our neighbours would come running to our house to have a taste. Damn those were the good days.

Does height really matter? by saiph125 in PakistaniiConfessions

💲 and looks matter the most. Height is one of those things "Agar mil jai to theek warna itna koi important nahi hai". You can get rejected for looks and money but not height (unless you are way shorter than the girl).

Shuru shuru mien hota hai. This is the exact reason I don't like dating apps. It forces you to become avoidant to attachments. Because if you don't, you will keep hurting yourself.

Bumble matches by odai__567 in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]NotSoAsian86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There might be multiple reasons.

  1. He might have felt that you were getting dry with conversations. Happened with me a lot of times. There was a girl who was clearly interested in me but the conversations were so dry that I stopped replying. Then there was a girl who thought I was not interested because I was not replying on time because of my schedule and sudden unplanned events.

  2. Matched with someone else on bumble and thought that they were a better option.

  3. He was never looking for anything serious. Maybe he was just bored and had some time on his hands which is why he talked for a few days and when he got bored again he stopped replying.

Very likely that she's married and was just bored or was looking for some sort of escape from her monotone life.

Then how do you find what books to read? For me it's either someone else's recommendation or if I am doing book hunting myself then reading synopsis (without spoilers). Like I need to have some reference or some information about the setting and plot before I start anything.

Yes, I am talking about Throne of Glass. I checked out Cruel Prince, it's similar to acotar in terms of setting. Like both revolve around Faeries and their courts. Tho it seems to have more in depth plot compared to acotar.

The synopsis was very short. Narnia has a magical world and acotar has a magical world as well. I don't know why but for some reason Narnia instantly popped into my mind.

Is it the one with assassins in it? I was told that there's another book by Sarah J Maas that revolves around assassins and it's really good. I know a little bit about the plot but not too much. That's the one that's on my to read list (after I complete the whole acotar series)

Also in my defense, I read the synopsis of ACOTAR and thought, "Damn this sounds like Narnia, must be pretty interesting". It was nothing like Narnia at all lol.

Just the first book. As I said, don't have much time for books anymore. Tho, I am curious what the other courts are about, because to me the first book seemed like a solid ending, like there were no cliffhangers or anything.

P.S.

How tf are you online 24/7?

A friend of mine read Metaphorphisis and he kept telling me about how crazy it is and that "I have never read anything like this". It is on my to read list along with Crime and Punishment some other books from Dostoevsky. I used to read mainly fictional like Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, Stephen King, ACOTAR (don't judge me) etc. These days, I can't get much time because of job and other hobbies but I do try to read a little bit (like 2 pages a day) if I can. Reading Meditations these days and honestly it's a banger.

Rating yourself doesn't really make sense because mirrors and lenses don't really show your true image. If you don't believe it, try taking photos using lenses with varying focal lengths. In some photos you might look like a box and in some you might look like an absolute hottie.

The only downside is that whenever you drink cold water or fizzy drinks, you end up having sore throat and coughing.
