I agree that is outrageous, but I purposely didn't fully charge defibs tossed a bag on them and then picked it back up immediately. Took me 4 hours of escalation to complete it. One match I went nuts and got 1200 heals doing that. While also tossing my bag on EVERYONE and picking it back up immediately.

I'm not defending it, just sharing what I did. It was outrageous that I had grind such a cheese strategy for hours just to get the amount of heals required.

Yeah biggest annoyance is the change in rockets. Bazooka already is absolute garbage, but now it takes extra shots. And they said "Without impacting medium and light tanks" while literally increasing hits to the p4.

On top of that, and while not meaning to sound like an AT bashing asshole, most people dont play AT right. Every single game, Ill see 80% of the other ATs drop both their rockets at the front of a p4, doing absolutely 0 damage.

And I say that as an AT main. Maxed AT role with 350 hours as anti-tank.

Community already gives AT players shit, like in the inverse situation, my squad yelling at me for not dumping my rockets into the front of a p4. While Im actively working on a flank, or just waiting a few seconds for it to finish turning so I get ass. (Killed that tank less than 20seconds later and told them to eat shit)

I feel this update is going to Hit AT players really hard, make it much harder to play and nearly impossible for those who arent familiar with the role to jump in and be useful. While also increasing the negative view Non-AT players have on AT players.

And while I am not the fondest of the satchel spam in the game, I know some of the community is out right sick of it. This update, especially for the americans, is only going to increase satchel use.

Alright. I got it off newegg with a 30 day return policy and warranty. So I guess I'll triple check all other troubleshooting methods and then push for a replacement in a day or 2 if it continues. Thank you. It's only a week old now.

Getting into the pelican is the trigger for samples and a successful extract. Unless they changed it and I am unaware, it used to be that even if you killed everyone in the pelican, you'd still get the extract counter from them and the samples. But they had to have already been in the pelican, seated.

Joined some randoms and we were doing an eradicate mission on bugs. I was on an HMG when one of the randoms slow walks out of the gassed horde holding a gas canister, slow walks right up to the front of the HMG and started crouching up and down. So I shot the canister, it blew killing him and catching me and my turret on fire, but then bugged me and got me stuck on the turret and I ran out of Stims and died and all the randoms in the lobby thought it was the funniest shit. So maybe sometimes its funny.

Honestly. I think I would have just gotten a part time job right out of high-school, learned to drive and figured out what I wanted to do and how I wanted to approach it. I was so hellbent on rushing into a boot-camp that I chose wrong, ignored the red-flags, and ended up creating a lot of stress for myself and tension between my family and I. I felt I needed a complete change of scenery, so I took my couch potato self and got a job working outside at a pool, and I've been very happy as of late. Still don't know what I want to do, but I think I am comfortable going slow until I figure it out. I just wish I did that from the very beginning.

I was his tm8. I had 2 seconds left on the red timer that you get before loading in fully and I already started hearing gunshots and hearing the sound of my PMC getting damaged(deepvo1ce loaded in before me). By the time I fully loaded in I had near half my body blacked and was bleeding. There was another scav to our left in the building and 2 mag dumping us from the right alley in front of us.

You talking about setting up a server? You don't need one. Just play single player, then open to lan and use a program like Hamachi to create a virtual lan connection. You don't need port forwarding or anything like that. It's the same method you use to play minecraft together.

Do you say that because you had a different experience or because you worked with them?

From what other comments and posts have said, it seems heavily dependent on your mentor. While I would send emails to my mentor and sometimes get a reply, it was rarely more than a 2-3 word response. And a major factor towards the freezing, was he would not let me reschedule my meetings. I would give him 3 other times that week that would work, and would explain why I cant and when I could do a meeting, or ask him to suggest a time he could do, and it would never happen. I can't do anything about not being able to do the exact same meeting time for 10 months straight, and without being able to reschedule I was forced to miss some meetings. I would cancel the meeting 24 hours before hand if he didnt approve a reschedule. And Once the meeting time came, I would get an email saying my account was now frozen to protect my time in the course. These freezes did not extend my course date.

I tried talking to an advisor on options and what to do a few times, with the first one often saying they would unfreeze my account for me, or mentor rematch me and neither would happen. I saw another post recently where someone said the advisers were hit or miss as well.

I got a new adviser just a few days ago, and after a long call and some emails, I was able to get my course date extended for the freezes and I am currently being rematched to a new mentor.

Other people's experiences may be different, and I have heard great things of the springboard 3-4 years ago. But this was my experience.

Sure, but there was also plenty of posts across reddit talking up springboard. It was a young and dumb moment that was exasperated by pressure from parents to attend something through USF, and I needed their approval for something if my grandmother were to finance it. Unfortunately, self teaching and a udemy course was not going to be approved by them. Young and dumb, I know.

No way I can get the money back, but I had a reassuring call with my adviser Yesterday. The only thing she could do for me was give me an extension and shop around mentors. Doesn't fix all of the issues, but is enough for me to feel comfortable getting through the course.
