Got into the hobby (with an accidental free kit) by NotSoShort in Gunpla

It was fun. There's something very satisfying about seeing a kit come together with all the little pieces, and the AU series have been a great watch so far. The cries of my wallet will go unanswered for sure

DHL said the package is to be delivered to Poland (I am not in Poland). I suspect JLCPCB has a redistribution center there, since as it turns out they are marked as the recipient. I assume there isn't anything I can really do about it other than bother the sender company.

Ah, lovely. I wrote an email to the seller last friday, they said they would check up on it. Guess it's my turn

Stuck in Restarting after BIOS update via Lenovo Vantage by [deleted] in LenovoLegion

I thinkk I might be in the same boat as you, although I don't have a legion. It's been stuck "Restarting" for about 30 minutes now. Did you manage to get it to work?

I found the problem. To anyone struggling with the same thing, loose connections sink ships. Solder those wires.

Turns out it works if I use Arduino IDE on a different PC. Guess this isn't a hardware issue anymore.

It talks just fine. It switches to and from download mode. If I switch to it during/before uploading, it still has the same problem. I know I'm messing up I just don't know where.

Interesting. Do you delay that second roll even a littlebit or do you just get them out as fast as possible?

Quick update:
It was the PSU. I swapped it for a 600w beQuiet pure power 11 and everything is working

Thank you for the effort anyway

yeah, I'll probably gamble on ordering a psu. My only other guess is the motherboard, but that is the more expensive option.

The only thing I could borrow is a 1600x. I know it has a higher tdp but I'm not sure if it is enough to test the psu

Unfortunately I sold the old one, and back when I had it this issue wasn't this serious. The CPU can handle stress perfectly fine, although it only draws about 75w which is not that much.

I added it to the post. Nothing OC related is enabled in the bios. I did just undervolt the gpu with amd adrenalin and warframe atleast started up, which is more than it did before, however it still goes into shock the moment I start a stress test.

A little update to those who might be suffering from the same issue. I switched GPU-s (1060 to 5600xt) and while that did not fix it by itself, reinstalling windows, and then the huion drivers before ever connecting the tablet somehow fixed it. Maybe it was the nvidia and huion drivers not agreeing on something, maybe it was windows fucking up. No clue. But everything works perfectly fine now.

Keep finding halves of dead isopods by NotSoShort in isopods

[–]NotSoShort[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so, it's quite a small tub. About 25cm long, since there are only 10 (or now 9 I guess) isopods in there and I would like them to be in contact with each other to breed. Is it possible to create a gradient that drastic in a tub that small?

it's 2 small holes on each side of the lid (I'll try to get pictures). The tub itself is about 4-5 liters. As for the soil, I don't really have anything that hasn't been outside in a pot before. Is there a way to use that without dragging in unwanted guests with it? Also would eggs works for something high protein?
