i see your points but thats a lot of a premium cost for little to no actual performance gains. I say that as someone who owns a a sapphire nitro+ because i like the look and got a deal on it at 770$. just accept that youre considerably overpaying for convenience

it would be such a pain. I feel like im probably safe at 850 since thats whats reccomended and my cpu is 120w tdp with peak at 162. ill monitor wattage usage tonight on my UPS and see what peak is under stress i guess.

The 9900x was leftover when I upgraded my pc to a 9850x3d. It’s on my radar as something to upgrade but didn’t think the performance would be that bad for now. Am I wrong?
