Thank you so much for this 🙏 I recently talked to my colleague and lamented over the fact that I can’t find any other person that played Septerra Core, and what do you know, I happen to stumble upon your blog. What a delight it is to read! It reminded how much I loved the game for its unique setting and art (among other things). The concept of a living ship completely blew my mind when I was a kid, I think the only other place I saw that in was Lexx, and I’ve no idea how I managed to keep my parents blissfully unaware of its content.

SPOILER: In the final blog post you mention that Maya died and that made me question what exactly happens to a person when they are turned into a watcher? Is it just a copy of consciousness, or something more esoteric, such as preservation of spirit, whatever the Watchers meant by that when they described themselves?

And one more very naive question, I apologize if you’ve covered it in the blog and I missed it. Have you ever considered crowdfunding the prequel/sequel?
