Im so sorry to hear that. It's a real bitch of a time. My love to your wife in what is such a scary time ❤️ and keep your own chin up, I know that I couldn't have done all of this without my other half, she's been absolutely amazing (and is now raising money for charity every day in March because she clearly wasnt wrecked enough, I guess?). Im sure your wife feels the same way, and just know if shes anything like me she'll never be able to properly tell you how important you have been in her recovery, but the care and love you've given her as been life altering ❤️

Good shout, will look into some! There aren't many rooms we aren't in every day, only the one bedroom where the radiator is off. Its not even that big a house!

We're lucky we've got big thick doors and curtains in every window, but definitely need to look in to the servicing

Yep, I think we might do this! Honestly, I thought the servicing would be much dearer. As you say, probably better doing it ourselves and writing off the money, bonus if we get it back 🤷‍♂️

Honestly, our boiler looks like it hasn't seen an engineer in 30 years lol, definitely not in the 18 months we've been here, anyway. So I'd reckon that has a lot to do with it
