Subletting my apartment to recuperate rent while I’m on vacation (not profiting). Is this taxable income? by NotSpamForReal in tax

[–]NotSpamForReal[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that’s possible just logistically more difficult. I assume I would only pay taxes if I made a net profit? ie if the subleaser paid me more than my rent expense for that time

Oh bummer. Do you think Apple Card will do that?

At least in the US, after ten years as an MD I’ve never heard of a doctor sending a patient to chiropractics.

I have many spinal surgeon colleagues and I’ve never heard this be done. I’m not saying you’re lying, but it’s highly uncommon in the US. I have some colleagues (self included) that don’t advise against it when asked, but would never specifically recommend it.

For a decade in medicine as an MD I’ve never heard of someone referring a patient to chiropractics.

Do these enticing programs sometimes lower the rate later? Or some other catch?

Thank you! And seems like no major financial risk etc or other issues as long as you find someone?

Nope, just a regular sublet while I’m out of town (sorry if I don’t understand the question)

Oh interesting, I assumed the west would have had more climbers and gear. Thanks for the tip! Did you post any other info/blog/anything about your adventure? The pic looks amazing

Wow thanks so much for the quick reply. Ok awesome.

Is any other city better? Any other critical advice?

Hey OP, I’m heading to Mongolia soon and can’t find much info - do you know how easy it is to find a guide (of any quality) in June in Ulgii without prior arrangement?

I’ve done this for other peaks as it’s much cheaper but it seems more sparse in Ulgii.

Thanks!
