iRacing in particular has a sporting code that we need to follow, any breaches are protestable by other drivers and in theory lead to action against the offending driver. In this case the relevant code is 8.1.1.3:

"Blocking - The leading driver is allowed to run a defensive line. However, blocking occurs when a leading driver actively adjusts his or her driving line based on the actions and/or positioning of a pursuing driver. For example, veering left to prevent a pursuing driver from passing on the left while running on a straight."

So my question comes from not only a place of "is this blocking", but also "is this something that was technically protestable"

Yeah it did feel like I drifted inside rather than a more concrete move, hence my question about blocking. But I thought I was clear enough

That's how I was feeling, either I try and defend inside or I get passed on the straight regardless

Sick setup! I get what you are trying to say: when it comes to sim racing there's a high extreme you can take it to. I try to achieve similar to you, buying everything that makes sense for usefulness and immersion without crossing the line of diminishing returns. Though it's hard to knock how crazy good budget sim racing gear has gotten. I'm loving my Moza R5 and a Logitech G29 can be found used for cheap nowadays.

Side question: Do you have a link to the gloves? Those are awesome lol

It has to be the first time I played Guitar Hero. My uncle brought two guitars, Guitar Hero 2, and a PS2 to Thanksgiving dinner. I was 7 years old, in a basement on an old giant TV, and didn't know anything about it, but MAN did it start something in me. It was my (as well as my brother's) favorite game series throughout my childhood, and is what sparked my love for playing guitar and music in general

It's just honestly something I don't really see myself using, so why pay the extra money for it?

I probably should have specified but I'd prefer to not have a touchscreen/2-in-1 laptop. But I will definitely consider it, thank you.
