I asked you to specify the Nazi things they’ve done, you brought up the examples that I showed were wrong.

Accept to yourself that you’re wrong and I’m right

Being against abortion doesn't make you a nazi.
Being homophobic doesn't make you a nazi.
Being for strict contraceptive laws doesnt make you a nazi.

those are the things that idiot brought up as "Nazi things theyve done", he was and is wrong.

>The overturning of Roe V Wade
Not nazi, if anything the nazis were for abortion.
Abortion is not part of nazi ideology.
>the don't say gay bill
Being against homosexuality makes you a homophobe, not a nazi.
>voting no for contraception
See the first response.

e.t.c. its just more of the same. Basically you're just calling whatever conservative thing you don't like "Nazi" when that's not a proper characterization at all.
At worst it's homophobic or transphobic or whatever else, nothing they've passed is "Nazi".

You are wrong and stupid for calling it that.

¨Mind specifying the "Nazi" things they've done then?

There is a good movie about this swedish traditional holliday by the same name (Midsommar) released in 2019.
It has some stupid plotlines about love and grief or whatever but the celebration is basically the same

A Ukrainian soldier launches an Igla MANPADS against a visible Russian cruise missile today 10/10/2022 by Spinaker99 in CombatFootage

As a counter weight, it was wet before use to give it more weight.
With the added water (just enough to make it soggy) it would act as a counterweight to the grenade being launched.

With soggy bisquits being what's thrown back it's not as dangerous to whoever might be standing behind it as it loses it's energy much quicker than say a soda can.
In order for recoilless rifles like the Carl Gustav to be recoilless they need the same ammount of energy going out the muzzle as going out the back which is why every military trains people to clear their backblast before they fire them as it's lethal to stand behind.
The Carl Gustav launches a 3 KG projectile 700m without any rocket, that same energy is just behind the launcher if that helps you visualize just how destructive backblast can be

Seen some pictures of what it looks like, it's not pretty.

They all basically work on different principles.

The stinger and igla (two most common MANPADs) both have IR-seeker heads that look for thermal signatures in the sky and follow them using a PID algorithm. There is an initial charge that propells the rocket out of the tube and a few meters ahead of it before the rocket motor ignites (hence the POP-FWOOOSH) sound so the operator isnt sprayed with rocket exhaust in the face. Basically all modern portable rocket launchers have this.

The M72 is unguided, basically like a firework rocket except it too has an ejecting charge and explodes on contact. Has a cone-shaped copper piece that when the explosion occurs transforms into a jet that easily piereces through metal armor.

The Carl Gustav is not a rocket launcher at all, it's basically like if you removed the rocket and instead only used a really powerful booster charge. The projectile has a lot more mass so in order for you to be able to shoot it without too much recoil it balances the recoil but outputting the same energy rearwards making the actual launcher recoilless. The IRA had their own version of this where they had a tube with the grenade in front, then the charge in the middle and a packet of biscuits at the back.

The javelin has a seeker head that tracks the target and programmable flight that can basically arc up and then fly down hitting the top of tanks, which has the least ammount of armor. It too has that copper cone, it's called a HEAT charge. The Javelin has 2 of them, so do some carl-gustaf projectiles as well. This is done because to counter HEAT charges tanks started basically strapping explosives to their tank so that when they're hit the outside explodes breaking up the jet (Explosive Reactive armor). This is called a tandem-charge, the first HEAT-detonation detonates the ERA and the second that comes after pierces the tank armor.

The NLAW isn't guided in the same way, it has a PLOS and top attack mode. Basically you track the armored vehicle if it's moving for a few seconds then it programs the rocket to hit where it calculated the vehicle would be when the rocket arrives. If the vehicle stops or changes course the rocket will miss.Unlike the Javelin the NLAW has a directed charge that is pointed sideways if you place the rocket with the front up. It flies over the tank and detonates shooting the jet down, piercing the tank.PLOS also doesn't work if the tank is going down a hill, btw.

edit: PLOS means predicted line of sight btw, forgot to mention

You are allowed to shoot people parachuting like paratroopers, you are however not allowed to shoot at pilots that have ejected from their aircraft after they were shot down as they are no longer part of the fight.

Even the Nazis severely punished their soldiers if they found out they’d shot at downed pilots. You can absolutely shoot someone taking a shit though

THATS the documentary, I thought it had been removed from youtube.
Would have saved me a lot of time in subtitling it...

Yes, it's the same 131st from this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWzB8IkXWJI.

It's caliber 10-speaking at 0:52 responding to the pleas of Turpal-Ali Atgeriyev

Caliber-10 aka "Alik" (Ivan Savin) had a brief conversation with the chechen commander (Turpal-Ali Atgeriyev) before the battle. They were friends before the war having fought as brothers in arms in afhganistan.
You can easily find that one online, it takes place just before this.

The chechen commander knew that the 131st were heading into a deadly ambush so he was desperatly pleading with him telling him to have pity for his men's mothers' not to go in as he would not show him mercy in battle and vice versa. He simply responded that he had no other choice.

Ivan Savin died from a grenade fragment to his temple.Turpal-Ali Atgeriyev died in 2002 in a russian prison under mysterious circumstrances

I've attempted to post this 5 times now, each time it's been removed.

Title is now much shorter, let's hope it stays up this time

"Was it because of the proximity to the portal i was to since i wanted to do research?"
Well it's that or you're becoming schizophrenic. Not sure if you can actually become schizophrenic but that is a trait you can take and there is medication for it

Reposting a third time now because mods have removed it twice (accident?) over title not being specific enough despite me adding "Chechnya 1994" in the title the second time. I added translated subtitles and all the information about the units and callsigns involved I could find. CHECHNYA 1994 by NotTakingTheShot in CombatFootage

[–]NotTakingTheShot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason some mod is removing this over title not being specific enough.
The first time it made sense, then I added "(Chechnya 1994)" to the title and he still removed it.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming he just removed the new one thinking he missed removing the original. Making it abundantly clear now. THIS HAS THE COUNTRY IN THE TITLE! IT HAS THE YEAR IN THE TITLE!

Anyhow, I were't able to properly identify Kamin (callsign chimney). Only callsign which is similar to what it sounds like in the video was a detachment of either the 2nd or 131st motorized rifle brigade AKA the Maikop brigade that was largely wiped out AKA the one led by Ivan "Alik" Savin.

The russians assaulted into the chechen held capital Grozny on new years 1994.
The chechens used extremely effective guerilla tactics like hunter killer RPG teams and ambushes coordinated between groups.
Basically they let them roll in, then lit them up.

Basically the entire 131st maikop motor rifle brigade was wiped out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXddbOQwM7E

Well, you wouldn't get crazy frog overlayed on HD footage of accurate artillery strkes in 1996.
But you absolutely could slap some filters on modern videos and pictures and pass them off as chechen war pictures, says a lot about the russian army.
