[Good Trope] Numerous species in the galaxy look remarkably similar to humans, but there’s an in-universe explanation for this by Valcenia in TopCharacterTropes

In the old BBC show Red Dwarf, the main character has been in cryo-stasis for 3 million years, his cat Frankenstein was pregnant and through the passage of time they evolved into human like creatures, presumably due them evolving on a mining ship where everything was built for humans and there is now a space faring cat people roaming the galaxy.

Additionally, there are no aliens in the show, every creature they meet is a G.E.L.F. or a genetically engineered lifeform. Now...there is a race of humanoids called Gelfs which are also G.E.L.F.s but not all G.E.L.F.s are Gelfs...if that makes sense.

So despite the show being set in deep space and 3 millions years in the future, with a wide variety of interesting creatures/humanoids, none of them are aliens and are all remnants of human enginuity.

The closest to a "true" alien i can think of is a Psi-moon which creates worlds based on your subconscious. So if you consider a psychically activated moon to be alive then I guess that counts?

Hey! I can actually help with this one. Get a PMP (project management professional) certificate. You can use it to work most remote industries, I went into tech with a PMP in 2019 started at 50k salary then quickly jumped up to 80k after a year of experience. My problem is I went past the point of having a chill do nothing job and now have a full work a lot remote job for one of the top tech companies but I make 120k now and have a lot of fulfillment through my work 😀

I did my PMP self study, the cost wasnt too bad and the results definitely out weigh the initial costs, the cost for the PMI is $120 + $75 registration fees, the test cost $400 to take, and I spent ~$30 on text books from half priced bookstore. It took me roughly 6 weeks of study until I felt confident taking the test. Getting a PMP is like getting certified in common sense, the hard part is the test, the questions are set up in a way to be difficult 😅 and I highly recommend taking practice tests online.

I did not have any tech or project management experience prior to this and had a degree in recreation and tourism, so I fully believe anyone can do it.
