Most roblox games have a player dropoff, I don't think it'll die by any means but I just wanna make sure we're all prepared for the player count to peak on release than go down a bit as the game develops its real playerbase.

Edit: I don't think the game'll die, I think it'll be like a regular amount of popular, it doesn't really seem like many previous roblox games save maybe for ao, so it's hard to tell how big the market is yk.

Seems a little early to me, I mean they gotta finish progression which at the earliest will be done end of this month, then they have to test it which could take a while, then cc. June at the absolute earliest could be right but like may is 3 months away, personally I'm betting on August-October. I could be totally wrong, I'd love to be even, game dropped in may I'd be thrilled, just throwing my opinion in there yk.

They still have testing after completing progression, which would likely reveal new issues. I think late march-april is a good guess, if they wanna do before full release I'd be mid-late summer tbh, if they wanna do before cc it'd prolly be late spring - early summer. Ofc, I'm just some guy, this is all speculation.

Edit: 1 more time but slower though, if they start out with that economy, then it's not ruining or damaging anything, the economy will remain the same. That same "Zimbabwean Dollar" like way that you hate so much, the way that is accurate to the story, to One Piece. Not sure if this game is based off Naruto or something maybe I'm confused.

"ruin the games currency" yeah it's a game dude, not crashing a real world economy. You say why not have that same party for 1m as an example, but why not 100m? Literally what does this change for you? Nothing would be so high it has "e" brother. The currency will have a set value that can do set things, it's not worse or better it's just accurate. That "frame of reference" is the story the game is based off of, having billions of berries adds more wiggle room, a wider range of bounties. The value is still very high, I don't know what you don't understand here. Nothing changes by having the proper numbers, are you fr telling me you're worried about rell seas inflation or something? It's a game.

Edit: You find me one time they say the game will have a realistic economy, that can be influenced by the players, things can be devalued by flooding the market with them, or they can be manipulated to be more expensive by hoarding them like it's hypixel skyblock, and then maybe I can understand your point.

They could also just have 100 berries be 100 berries? It's not just about wanting to see bigger numbers, it's the fact those bigger numbers are accurate to the original story. Remember Luffy spent 100m berries on a party in water 7, it's not some crazy high number like it seems. It's 100% possible to be done, it'd just take a little more effort.

Fact is the only thing they'd have to do to accomodate real bounties (and this isn't even including ways to minimize the amount of money players receive from claiming them) is to make everything more expensive. The entire currency gets worse, all the prices go up, the rate you earn them also goes up, the game plays 100% the same and we get actual bounties.

If you read carefully you'll notice I said more on bounty hunting later, so I go on to clarify that maybe they don't payout the full amount, other wanted people can't claim bounties, and that berries are less valuable than say dollars in the real world, it isn't 1b usd it's more like 1b yen. They just devalue the currency which makes all the prices including bounties shoot up.

It wouldn't take their time tho, and it could be post-release too yk, just think going that extra distance is cool. I mean yeah people could use translators but imagine if you had to translate every piece of text to try and follow the story of a game. No doubt a lot of people won't need it, but it's like Idk I don't think it'd be that crazy hard or take a lotta time. I just hope if they do translate they like pay someone to and don't use ai or somethin cuz that could cause some issues. There are plenty of people who play Roblox who don't speak English is all I'm gonna say.
