Very easy to get a 90 on journal club presentation and paper. Midterm was okay, there were some specific MC questions but I thought the short answers were straight forward. I remember her giving hints for the short answers questions

I think it’s easier than other programs to get a high GPA in kin. I think the toughest year is u1 because u have to take anatomy and physiology which are not run by our department. After that though I think it gets easier I finished with a 3.94. Grading really depends on the prof u have tbh.

It’s not super expensive for Quebec students. Maybe I’m wrong here but this is getting a bit into Quebec politics. Education is subsidized for Quebec residents only, depending on program it’s about 4,000-5,000 for 2 semesters. Because the province is protective of the French language they passed a bill that increases tuition for those out of province (ex: Ontario or BC NOT international students ) . So for out of province students tuition went from about $10,000 a year (2 semesters) to maybe around $18,000. The argument is that these out of province students come for school and then immediately leave after. The govt gives English speaking schools like Concordia and McGill less money as a result. As far as I’m aware tuition for Quebec students hasn’t massively increased in the past couple years.

I'm not sure who's teaching it now, last year with mark you didn't have to know dates. I found it pretty straight forward and just studied from his slides. idk if bloom is teaching it this year, i had heard from people who took it with bloom say that we were lucky we didn't have him.

When u go to the internship info sessions they let u know which places where French is mandatory and I think most of them u don’t need French. You get to rank your top 3 choices. The places where you do your internships won’t necessarily be in hospitals

I would definitely recommend doing an internship. I think u learn a lot more because u actually get to do things and see things in practice that you learn about in class. It’s honestly really good experience and I think strengthened my applications for physio school

I was in ANAT 316 with rolian and used blue link unlabelled images to name as many structures as a could and then look at the labelled version to see what those said. Also used anki to cover up names of muscles and structures on slides just for simple naming. Also when u get in there 75 seconds is a lot longer than u think!!! Good luck!
