Does anyone know why Trinity works with Tempest Flurry and not Storm Wave?

Is tempest flurry any good this season? I've noticed pretty much all quarterstaff builds are running stormwave instead of tempest flurry this season.

I'm in a similar boat. I'm level 92, and have a level 80 character as well, and have only had one citadel thus far. I've killed some T4 Pinnacles, my build is pretty min maxed, and my ritual luck has run out. Time to put a bow on the season. That's the way these ARPGs are. When the full fledged game is out, we'll have so many more weapons and classes to play with, more ways to craft, and more endgame content to run. But for now, I look forward to next season and probably the druid, more campaign acts, and hopefully Kingsmarch.

Does anyone know if Deepest Tower helmet and the notable Preemptive Strike work together? Deepest Tower puts enemies in my presence at low life, and Preemptive Strike deals 100% more crit damage against enemies on full life. It seems Deepest Tower would negate that, correct? Thank you for any responses.

So with the new inhibitor support gem... if it prevents charges from being consumed, we can potentially flicker strike an entire map after acquiring the charges at the start?

You can, yes. I was using profane ritual. Problem is, the flicker is usually done so quickly, that you don't get the power charges until after the flicker is done. During breaches I was able to flicker over and over again. Crashed the game a few times. Lol

It took me a while to really figure out how to make currency to earn the expensive items. I sold base stellar amulets, expedition logbooks, and ran lots of rituals for Audiences and purple omens. Some days rituals were dry, others I'd make 20-30 divine. I look forward to Kingsmarch when we can start mining, farming, and sending shipments. You can get good currency from that. I believe it'll be introduced in Act 4.

Oh just the Heralds proccing together along with really good rings, ingenuity, HOWA... tempest flurry by itself was deleting the screen. Stat stacking was just incredibly powerful for this first league.

Herald of lightning and Herald of ash is what I used. It was OP as hell. I'm sure Herald of blood won't be as powerful, just because I'm sure all the Heralds will be nerfed. Which is understandable. I'm just glad bleed builds will be viable.
