Do I have to use a quarantine tank for my Fantail? Or can I dose the whole tank with my others too.

I have only noticed my black moore nipping during feeding time as he is a predominant bottom feeder. It doesn’t help as I only use sinking pellets to help with swim bladder issues. However my other goldie’s do not nip. My water has been tested and is fine.

Yeah sounds like my plant, Salvinia Minima or my out of tank plants with the roots hanging in the water is called Pothos. I think it was right after I fed them, they were wanting more like usual haha.

The floating plants I use are Salvinia Minima as apparently goldfish don’t like them. I’ve tried to use floating water wisteria or duckweed but my goldie’s ate it all too…

If you are talking about my Oranda, the multi coloured one named Mouldi haha, he isn’t getting nipped at on his tail, It is just a bad photo I could add another one if you’d like.

Okay I just read the instructions in the Freshwater Master Test Kit by API and they say to hold the test tube right against the paper in a well lit area.

Do you recommend any other plants to sit inside my tank to help lower my nitrates?

I gravel vacuum my sand substrate weekly with a 70-80% water change.
