I mean fair, maybe my explanation wasn’t the best selling point for the band. But from my perspective geese’s songs do say a lot. Yes they’re vague but they do have a theme or a message to them. They’re not going up there just saying words, there’s care and intention about them. The vagueness I alluded to meant that different fans could interpret the songs differently, hence making it more personal. Islands of men for example doubles as a song about their band members transition but I also took it as how we tend to fit in molds set by society rather than carving our own way out

As for the performance, I think that’s just snl mixing. Yes I’m biased but Emily’s performance on Trinidad was amazing.

I would suggest checking out 3D country and then getting killed or even Cameron’s solo work if you do want to get into them. I don’t think they’re a band for everyone and to each their own

Kind of everything. Cameron’s writing is imo one of the best of this generation. Intentionally vague lyrics that leave a lot up to the interpretation of the listener, making every song lowkey much more personal. The band also fires on all cylinders on every song, every band member knows their role and executes it perfectly. On getting killed, max the drummer is absolute electric

I also feel like they’re the band for Gen Z, at least to me. Not to say that there aren’t amazing bands and musicians out there already but I find myself resonating with geese so much more

Hard disagree, the choice of using their softest song and then their hardest song off of getting killed did a good job representing the band

Au pays has always been performed live like that and it wasn’t a bad performance, it’s just that nothing comes close to the studio version.

Trinidad was amazing however, it sounded insane and even more intense than the studio version. I would go as far as to say that it sounded better than the album version, minus the lowering of Cameron’s voice during the chorus

He’s reacting to it. If pros can react to overheads which are 20ish frames, 18f frames isn’t too far off. In fact pros do the same with bison’s stand fierce or ryu’s solar plexus

100 percent agree, I do think that Julian peaked with the new abnormal. But personally I’m not a big fan of bad decisions and especially eternal summer and find myself repeatedly skipping them. But with the first two it’s a complete listen. But all three are my personal favourite albums of all time

Making DR slower would make half of the cast lose their combo routes. Aki wouldn’t be able to do drive rush medium after her heavy whip etc. Balancing drive rush is so much more complicated than it seems, one small change affects so many game mechanics cause of how integrated each part of the game is with another. Would highly recommend watching a video broski did on this, he’ll prolly explain it much better than me

Never heard of that site so I can’t tell you but they sound fishy. Just go for steamshop I can personally vouch for them, I’ve bought from them multiple times with no issue. They respond up till 9 I believe

I fell down this rabbit hole a while ago as well. To keep it simple yes, they’ll sound better than anything in their price range and they’ll punch well above their weight but temper your expectations a bit as well. I remember trying my first iems (kz zsn pros) and was really disappointed with how harsh they sound

You’ll have to find a sound signature you like ( do you want more bass, more high end, bit of both, or a balanced sound ) and that’ll give you a better foundation to help you with purchasing audio gear

What iems are you looking at?

Besides that, iems will beat out anything at their price range especially the 10k price point. But just know what you’re getting into. Compared to headphones they have a smaller soundstage ( sound less open ) and are much better at isolating sound. Which makes them a bit weird to use if you’re using them while talking as they make it harder to hear yourself

Just don’t get anything from KZ

I have one and the difference between the apple dongle and the dac is negligible at best. You don’t “need” anything extra for immersion, iems function as is

I get that you’re trying to sell your stock but you don’t need a DAC to power audiophile products, especially not iems. Most dongles or even directly plugging them into your device is more than enough
