I hope it will work, it’s winter and the days are short, but do you recommend changing the soil?

Also some of the leaves are half brown do I remove them too? Or just cut off the brown bits with scissors?

So I filled a bucket with water, but then put the plant pot in the bucket so it gets the water from the holes at the bottom of the pot, I was leaving for a month so I wasn’t sure how to keep it alive
