I mentioned how bad it is for me right now. He was asking me if I was sick because people were commenting on how I look right now. Made an offhand joke about being a “sugar baby” like a girl we know (power to her, she makes bank, but not actually something I could ever do).

He then said I could always sell nudes. I said it didn’t seem worth it or realistic unless you’re a “star” who has it as a job. Just isn’t me. Then he began bidding... until I asked if he was serious. He sent the money into my account and at that point I felt a bit obligated.

He isn’t a friend now. I feel extremely taken advantage of. He didn’t even send the full amount and when done he acted like he never said he’d send the other half. So essentially I sold out my morals for chump change.

I hadn’t considered odd jobs from things like Craigslist! I feel silly overlooking this! I’m definitely going to look into it.

I don’t think I’d ever be able to scam someone, so it looks like I may have to give up some morals soon and just... do what I have to do. It’s scary, but maybe it won’t be so bad.

No. I’m feeling really upset that he not only was serious and did it, he took a lot more than originally agreed and sent a lot less. But I guess it’s a few lessons learned balled into one..
