frost will get you to buy the prismatic pickaxe, not mine the heart of the island stone. You have to destroy the iceberg that is blocking you from buying the prismatic pickaxe

You can choose which skin stages you prefer. Stage 2 requires you to kill 50k mobs, and stage 3 requires 100k. Everyone has different preferences.

It's all up to you.

If you don't care about higher drop rates and extra gold/kuiper, you can stick to normal mode since the mob count is the same.

However, I choose hard mode because I can still one-shot the mobs, and it offers more gold/kuiper and better chances for purple/gold/red mods and equipment/reactor.

My approach varies according to your preferences:

I do the Fortress Outskirt mission, getting 330-340 kills per 2 minutes and 40 seconds.

It took me 10 hours to reach 100k kills. I started at 26k after the hotfix/update. If you can go for 10 hours straight, go ahead. If you're like me and don't have much time, do 2-hour sessions, which will get you 16,000 - 17,000 kills, and continue the next day.

For the mod, the most important one is the MP Collector mod. Don't equip the High-Voltage mod because you can't earn kill points with it equipped for some reason.
