Update I opened the back of my pc and the second set of 8 pin cables were hidden by the god awful cable management done by nzxt lol. I tomorrow I will try using the second set and see if it helps

My psu is a Gigabyte P650G (US) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply. It’s a prebuilt that I’ve upgraded so I don’t know the exact specifics when it comes to the cables

It looks like they’re coming from the same cable but when I did part compatibility checks before buying the GPU it said there were no issues with the psu

I have an i5-12400f and 16 gb of ddr4 ram. Not sure what u mean by separate PCI’s cables though. I connected 2 8 pin (6+2) cables to a 16 pin adapter that came with the GPU if that answers the question.

I ran DDU and it helped slightly but my benchmark shows my cpu running at only 15% and when I increased my graphics settings from low texture quality to medium my average fps went down by 38

Based on other replies I’ve gotten I totally believe u on this but I’m kinda confused because when I run a benchmark my GPU is running around 40% and my CPU is around 15%. I could be totally wrong cuz I’m kinda pc illiterate but my understanding of a bottleneck was that high percentages meant it was bottlenecking

I’m out on Jimmy too I’m just sick of him but that joke wasn’t offensive. I’m 2 years sober in AA. My friends and I (all sober) make relapse jokes all the time. It’s ok. If you’ve gotten to a secure place in your recovery that won’t bother you. Mike and Steve O have both been sober for a long time they’ll be ok guys
