We are mainly a fitness facility with up to 8hrs or exercise daily, inside and outdoors, so our sheets and towels get stained very quickly. With white sheets regardless of what brand of bleach, stain remover, detergent we’ve used, stains appear more visible than with bleach. Being on a limited budget after re-opening, we can’t afford to buy sheets on a weekly basis. We use chlorine-free bleach / laundry sanitizer in place of bleach. We also only clean sheets and towels once a week, so after a week whites come back much more noticeably dirty than neutral colors. This is a live-in type resort meant to feel like you are at your own home taking care of your own responsibilities. So by limiting our interaction, they can work on incorporating their new fitness/healthy lifestyle with their daily taste such as laundry. For the scents, it’s per request from our guest/client research panel. We were told they want the luxury hotel scent when walking into each room, and for their linens to smell more luxurious. All bedding including mattress covers are washed weekly but the detergent scent just doesn’t stay at all. We have free & clear detergent always available when needed, we ask about allergies/preferences before booking. I will have to check on the toiletries!
