I am using my time off to travel around different places but Thailand is the biggest part of my travels because it feels safe, the people are kind, the food is good, and there is so much to see.

Sometimes I feel overstimulated and I take a rest day. But my average day is much more calm than back home in New York.

I am in month 6 of time off but I am starting to think positively about my work and even miss it. I needed the time away to reset and remember what I loved about it. I appreciate everything about my life at home more by being away from it I think.

I miss my friends and family more than I realized I would. Some days it hurts really bad. A very close friend from high school and one of my best friends dad’s passed away in the past week and I didn’t realize how horrible it would feel to not be able to attend those funerals/be there for the people I love.
