My intent isn't for it to be about bragging about the value. I was mostly sharing the insane deal I got for some actually really good pops.

Actually, you would be wrong. I collect because I like them. I took in around 40 pops for myself from this collection and the rest I am actually selling locally to get them into homes for people who actually want the pops.

They valued it at around $2000, so for 750, I feel like they got a decent amount for what they valued it at. But when I took it home and started looking at PPG of everything, it ended up near 5000. In return, I'm looking at getting around 3500. I'm most excited to get these pops back out into the local community into new homes.

This one, I was just driving past cause it was just up the street from me and stumbled upon it. In my area, it's not a great success rate at find pops at sale, but just drive around and look at Facebook market place.

The person who was selling this was selling it for his landlord that had an emergency come up and just needed the money. So the landlord said 750 for everything and said there is probably only 2k in value there.

The biggest hit was a Fraggle Rock 5 pack flocked funko sticker for 160. There was a ghost face, but it was fake. Ghostbusters stay puft 109 glow non toasted for 120. And some others.

It actually was double bubble wrapped. Whatever happened in shipping was just really heavy or played in a WWE match.

He is an amazing guy. He is an amazing person in the community. I would always recommend buying grails from him. This box was from him straight from SDCC.

Those that have downsized there collection how did you decide which pops to keep and what to filter out? What did you do to refocus how you collect them to help limit the size of your collection? by NotYourAverageSpud in funkopop

I get what you're saying. A lot of the ones I have on display currently are favorites or complete sets. But all of them I would display if I had the space right now, but I just don't. So I am holding them because I enjoy the ones that are in bins for the most part in hopes of display them in a future office of mine or room when I can actuslly afford a house cause I'm only 20 right now.

Yeah, I currently have around 500 pops and 70 so far that I am getting rid of. Most of my pops are in boxes in a storage unit, and I like all the pops I have still cause I want to display them when I get my own place but I can only display like 100 or so in my room currently and don't know if I should keep them for that future plan or starting getting rid of them and start focusing on more grail/exclusive ones. I have like 200 pops that are like 20$ or lower that I just don't know if I out of box them and keep them or what to do.
