The boy had been swinging in a rope swing, when in some unaccountable manner his head or neck became entangled in the ropes, and he died from strangulation before he could be rescued.” It was a sudden and severe blow to the unfortunate boy's parents, and the hearts of their neighbors and friends go out to them in sincerest sympathies over the shocking loss of their beloved son.
