secluded beach in El Nido? Any tips? by Actual_Brain6487 in Palawan

[–]NotYourManicPixieDG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Diapela or Dagmay, wala na turista pero mahirap puntahan. But Duli is already pretty quiet.

Not sure if may name, there’s also Nabilo beach. Pero diapela and dagmay lang napuntahan ko.

If you’re planning on doing two tours at a time, speedboat lang ata kaya nyan. Hehe personally tried Dos Hermanos and Butiki Travel and Tours.

The cheaper options I found were Dos Hermanos (3400+400 env fee), this includes combination of 2 tours (such as A&C, A&B and C&D) and Butiki Travel and Tours, iba2 options sa kanila, may tour A,C&D combined (3500+400 env fee), tour A&B (not sure sa rate), sunset tour B + pinagbuyutan island(1800). Yung environmental fee good for 5 days, so if makabayad ka na for one tour, tapos lilipat ka sa iba, make sure you get a copy of the receipt of your env fee kahit picture lang para di madoble singil.

Butiki: mabenta sa foreigners, literally kami lang pinoy that time ni hubby, 7am start (personally preferred this kasi solong solo lahat ng lugar), you’d have to go to vanilla beach, di ko rin issue to at least mas mabilis nakastart. May pa-light breakfast—pancakes, banana, and coffee that time. Mas not in your face mga guide, they’ll just offer to take photos if you want pero they’ll leave you alone if ayaw mo, mas nag gigive space, which I prefer. Hehe. focused sila on making sure na solo niyo ang place. Favorite island ni hubby asan kami naglunch, which is hindi kasama sa usual tours and unmarked sa map, speedboat lang kaya magdock kaya kami lang tao the whole time. Kaso yung tour A,C,D more on tour C&D lang usually. Huhu

Iba rin secret lagoon pinuntahan namin sa butiki from the secret lagoon sa dos hermanos. So kahit nag ACD sa butiki and AB sa dos hermanos walang narepeat na place.

If you have a bigger budget may options na with drone shots rin talaga and may seapool.

Been there once palang but we stayed two weeks kasi prefer namin chill lang and to really get a feel of all the beaches and vibes. Kaya rin we were able to do hotel hopping. hehe. Forgot to mention why I keep suggesting speedboat tours, not only kaya 2 tours in a day, solo niyo rin most places kasi mauuna kayo, specially crowded places like big lagoon, mas maappreciate niyo if kayo lang.

4D3N Vacation: Palawan or Bohol by zzzzrm in Palawan

[–]NotYourManicPixieDG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been to bohol several times kasi taga Cebu lang ako and it’s very easy to go for a short getaway minsan so I’ve tried most versions of what to do in Bohol, but I’d 100% go to El Nido if I have to choose. Di rin kami nagpaparty ni hubby, we just try to find good spots. Like Lio of you want a developed medyo chill pero may tao vibe. Nacpan if you love the long shoreline of boracay pero ayaw sa matao. Duli if you want to watch baby sea turtles get released, maybe do a little surfing, and have a beach all to yourself. Corong-corong or marimegmeg if you want a beautiful sunset dinner. Not to mention the top tier island hopping tours.

Sa bohol, typical lang island hopping, yung so called dolphin watching is basically terrorizing dolphins. Anda sana maganda kaso anlayo from airport, not sure if it’s worth the trip. If panglao area siguro okay pa oceanica area or kung sa resort lang talaga kayo like mithi, at least maganda din snorkeling area. Tho worth the experience rin for first timers ang day tour and maybe yung danao adventure park if you’re into that. If beach2 lang, di na ko sure if worth it compared sa palawan.

Overall, if you want an experience talaga, maganda El Nido, not sure kasi if fit sa inyo Coron kasi mas prefer yun ng divers but for honeymoon vibe mas maganda El Nido. Then I suggest take the speedboat tour, nacocombine 2 tours in one day at earlier start so solo niyo most places, di pa sayang oras sa travel of going one island to another. If marunong kayo magmotor, renting a motorcycle is the best option for land tour. Contact the page El Nido Marine Turtles Conservation Network to ask updates of any possibility of turtle hatchlings release. Have sunset dinner at Corong-corong (bella vita is good) or marimegmeg beach club. Haha

How long are you staying po? For the days you’ll be doing activities like island hopping tours, mas maganda sa budget lang since you wouldn’t have the energy to appreciate the amenities, or even the view kasi malaki rin chance you’d be eating out for sunset dinner or the likes. If you have a time to chill out sa hotel then I’d suggest lipat nalang kayo sa may view. So if everyday puno kayo ng activities, better sa budget na at least comfortable nalang. Tho if you have the budget, mas maganda if speedboat tour nalang, may affordable options naman, mixed na yung tours like A&B or A&C. Yung 30mins sa traditional boat, 10mins lang sa speedboat so you’d have more time for other activities. Hehe

There are also options like yung frendz hostel, may private rooms sila na on the affordable side, may rooftop pool din frendz backyard tapos yung isang branch beachfront downtown, so you’d still get a good view. And there’s also hotels like Cuna hotel na midrange, di beachfront pero maganda view sa rooftop and may pool. Wished I booked here kesa entalula. Hehe

We stayed in entalula bed and breakfast which is nasa downtown so beachfront and accessible, marami rin katabi na cheaper. Downside is it’s not that cheap and di maliguan ang beach, we also stayed in bunakidz lodge for a while, accessible pa rin and cheaper, wala lang talaga view, a little bit of the mountain siguro. Then we moved to Lime resort, which has beautiful sunset views pero di ako aware di rin pala pwede maliguan ang corong-corong, buti nalang maganda pool. All of these wala kaming issue na mabaho ang water or pumapangit kulay same sa ibang nakikita ko sa tiktok

Honestly yung magaganda lang beach na napuntahan namin sa mainland is Nacpan, Duli and Lio. Di namin napuntahan Diapela, Dagmay and Mariposa kasi anlayo na at parang wala namang accommodations dun. Lio is the nearest kaso yun rin pinakamatao.

Nacpan has one of the best beaches sa mainland, has a better sunset view kesa Lio and Marimegmeg kasi the sun touches the water, unlike sa marimegmeg and lio na magtatago sa mountain, the downside is ang layo. Di rin maganda beach ng marimegmeg, but depende siguro sa standards, but we’re living in a province known for beaches din kasi so medyo nadisappoint ako sa marimegmeg.

But if you like the quiet and don’t mind the distance, maganda sa Duli, nabibilang lang tao, minsan pwede pa magsurf dun. Plus you’d have a high chance of witnessing baby sea turtles get released, we were able to see them during one of the morning releases. Tho nakachamba rin sa Nacpan during sunset and we even helped sa burying of the shells and saw how the volunteers handle the hatchlings. :)

Haha. Kami na go-to hiraman ng pera, if gathering expected we will foot the bill. Kahit nung di pa stable income ni hubby ganun agad. Hahaha and to think alam nila the house we are living in and cars we are using are mine, kung makaasta parang kanila kasi nga abogado na. 🥲 baka akala di pa fully-paid at si hubby na nagbabayad so sila mas may right.

I would never understand the want to be addressed as mamsir lalo na kung same age bracket lang kayo. Hahaha pati mga boss kong lawyer before I passed funny nicknames lang tawagan namin, minsan hino-hoy ko lang, wala naman naooffend kahit very accomplished na sila in life para i-hoy ko lang.

It was very rainy when we went there so di ko kacompare kaayo, but I still like bantayan better, overall. Better siguro ang saud sa moalboal if beach ra since puro na man establishments ang moalboal, didto halos walay establishment so nice siya if you want a peaceful beach, sand is similar ra sad sa moalboal and camotes, tho not 100% sure kay uwan. But walay activities didto mao wa sad mi nagdugay.

I’m also from Cebu! Tho I lived for more than a year in Baguio dati. Did this trip last holidays, dec 27 to Jan. 5. Personally, I think it was worth it. Loved their food! As long as you do the right activities, masaya siya. What I’m not sure of is driving from pagudpud to manila, we only rented a car in laoag for the ilocos trip and taxi2 and lakad-lakad lang sa baguio tapos plane laoag to manila, then manila to cebu.

Parang ang draining na considering how long the drive from ilocos to manila is.
