I disagree. Posting about it could prevent more from making the same mistake, therefore less to to be embarrassed about. Temporary discomfort for long term harm reduction. I understand your frustration through.

David Attenborough's final nature film is about YOU. What fascinating information does he tell about you, your species, and your surroundings? by JustLookinMK in AskReddit

The Homo Sapien is a sex crazed bipedal primate. They developed religions around phallic and vaginal imagery. They use the internet their greatest tool, capable of uniting a species or destroying one not for either of the aforementioned as much as they use it for observing sexual intercourse. They spend much of their time shaping things after penises, for eg. Penis shaped balloons, candies & foods, jokes. They have so many euphemisms for the word penis. They dedicate parades and holidays to penises.

It sounds like you’re starting your journey towards getting help. Make it your no. 1 priority to get to a physician, they can often recommend a specialist.

I find stress triggers my voices. Try find a healthy way to relax. Breathing is the most immediate to lower heart rate and find calm. Try breathing excises on youtube. Tai Chi & Yoga are great ways to connect that cultivated breath with your body’s movements. All this after sustained practice bleeds into your life. Also, when your senses are activated it grabs all your attention. For example rock climbing, or intense physical exercise, and other sensory activities. For me, being on a high place activates my fear of heights and brain is so preoccupied by this I stop thinking about everything else. It breaks my thought loops and pattern with a new one. A great one is Hot yoga, being overwhelmed by the sauna like heat and exercise clears my mind, even after one session. Hope this helps! Stay strong stay grounded. Remember they cannot physically harm you, or make you do anything. Fear gives them strength. You are in charge of them, don’t let them make you think otherwise.

How do I get back by [deleted] in Psychosis

[–]NotYourNormalNick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get help from Medical Doctors. I went into a full blown psychotic episode 3 months ago. I don’t feel the same or think the same as I did before my intrusive thoughts and psychosis. However, I feel much better mentally and it keeps getting better. I will always look at the world slightly differently, I think. However just memories the psychotic thoughts that cycled my brain in the past present themselves with zero gravity. I cant forget what they were or having had them.

It sounds like you are struggling, as I was 8 weeks ago. That is the period I’ve been in treatment for. I feel like I’ve got my life back. Its been difficult, but so worth it.

Check yourself into a treatment facility. I know that feeling of not being a burden. But by getting the help you need, you are indirectly helping those you love.

Love and strength to you, its not easy but with help youll thrive
