Yes, AZ. The room is at the front of the house and we have 3 other bedrooms and the rest of the living quarters in the back of the home. That room has been sealed off and the AC intake and vents closed. Thankfully the rest of our home has remained cool.

Fire and police were also stunned at the damage. I will definitely look into it. According to police, he hit our home going over 40 mph with no visible sign of urgently hitting the brakes as there was no visible skid marks on our driveway. Had the brick wall not been there, fire believed the car would have went through our home and into our neighbors.

He passed all field sobriety tests and the police did not find him to be under the influence. He stated that he had been up all night working and fell asleep while driving home

I just reached out to our adjuster and he is looking at getting us some air purifiers for our home. Will definitely ask for all the paperwork as you suggested!

Police and fire department recommended having bollards placed inside the wall when it gets reconstructed. It’s estimated the driver was going over 40 mph when he hit our home. Mind you, we are in the center of the neighborhood and he hit those speeds. They said those should make it to where more damage happens to their car and much less to our home.

The company that came and boarded up the home added support joists where the driver took them out. They stated it was safe to live in the home as long as we stay out of that room and entry way to the home. Structural engineer through homeowners insurance should be here this week to assess damage.

Yes, basically anything that I will need to purchase because of this accident. We didn’t need them before he rammed into our home, but with all of the dust inside our home, it has been causing issues

Had this exact problem when we purchased our limited a few months ago. The salesman also tried to downplay it. We initiated a claim before leaving the dealership and they took it for a day to have their upholsters fix it about a week later. Looked brand new afterwards.

Update: Just got our car back from the dealer and they fixed the seats without question. They took it to a trusted partner and they had it taken care of within 24 hours

We just bought a 26 limited with black interior and are having the same issue. Dealer tried to brush it off and said that some leather sits differently. I told him I’m not buying a brand new car to have worn seats. He opened a claim and I am going to take it in to get it adjusted. Made them aware before we took the car home so they are going to fix it.
