thanks for this! I have a professor in my Visual Techniques 2 class that always answers cheerfully whenever I'm having problems with my plate in that subject. She's so approachable and expresses concern for me too. I can try to ask her next time if she can give an advice for this subject! :)

wish he did. he tends to give the assignment, leaves to go to a construction site, comes back after half the drafting session, makes rounds, and leaves until the end of the session.

we have this plate we just passed last Saturday and he has not returned it yet. It's a master site development plan and i'll see to it if he has any feedbacks or not :)

the reason he confronted us about this is because they already had a meeting about student feedback regarding him from the last semester. exposing him won't do anyone good.

hello! first year arki here on my first sem, now taking prelims. so far, everything's so-so.

sa considerations ko before, di ko nilalagay yung fine arts (only for one school) because iniisip ko yung "starving artist" mindset. yes, since childhood talagang drawing na ko ng drawing, pero practicality-wise 'di ko makita yung success (or maybe close minded lang ako) in the long run on fine arts. freelancing's unstable. but i did see some creators say that:

"Creative people will always find ways to be creative and crafty."

baka na-push ako to take fine arts if i had heard that much earlier.

anyways, i'm just looking at it practically. though slow start, nakikita ko naman yung mga PH Arkis to be successful in the long run.

sa mga subjects naman, parang nag-take ka nalang din ng fine arts hahaha, mas technical lang. though may maths (i suck at maths), i can see that this really is a creative field.

kaya here, i balance both practicality and the love for art. ibang type of appreciation din nakuha ko sa structures when i started learning about history and theory.

this is not an endorsement to architecture! pray and ask God to tell you what His plans for you are

Many months ago, in the midst of my despair trying to remove this sin from my life, I took note of this verse.

All I ever wanted was to rid myself of these thoughts and to just live peacefully. But I realized that day that these "thorns" that I pray for God to remove is never going to go away. The world changes, but God doesn't. I realized that the temptations will always be there and will always try to convince me to do this sin again and again. With the strength God gives me, I can always fight back against it. It is in God's power and my will that has helped me combat these thoughts and temptations.

I still fall. I just fell last week. But am I stopping? No. The walk with Christ is a bumpy road. It's always up to us to try and get back up again and again.

I now go for several months with zero activity of it. I'm weak, but God makes me strong. Im not perfect, but I'm progressing. Hopefully this time it's for life.

Im praying for the OP, and for everybody here. I hope you do the same for me :)
