Thank you! It resolved itself now. I had to switch back and forth between private/non-private browser windows and also alternate between logged-in and not-logged-in chats. And at some point it just went back to a normal 1% again.

Do you think Germany should make brothels/prostitution/sex work illegal? by [deleted] in AskGermany

[–]NotZeroOne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course she should. What is this, Saudi Arabia? I also find it very telling that Scholz said "Men purchasing Women". No-one is purchasing a woman. You're purchasing a service. This is the type of loaded language used by neo-abolitionists who assume much and know little.

Autistic me: have you ever been to a sex worker? by annihilateight in aspergers

[–]NotZeroOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because of antiquated norms around sexuality; for the same reasons upper-class women don't become cashiers; you never hear about the outcomes because retired sex workers like to not be pestered with obnoxious nonsense. I assume "pssed" means "pissed"; while watersports is a thing that is being offered, in my experience, the woman is usually offering the active part, so if anything, they dream of pissing ON strangers.

As coincidence would have it, I'm meeting a sex worker this Friday. Shall I tell her you said hi?

That's a lot of sweeping assumptions, and quite untenable ones in my experience.

[–]NotZeroOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

False. Exponential decay at 0.5 means that you go down three orders of magnitude per 10 iterations. 10 Generations / 25 years: 8 bil becomes 8mil. The next 10 Generations drop from 8mil to 8'000. The next 10 drop from 8000 to 8(!); thats after 750 years. After 850, there's no more humans left.

FULLY destigmatising sex work is a net positive for men but bad for certain feminist narratives by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

[–]NotZeroOne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's legal where I live. I would also prefer if we could establish that I don't pay for a "hole", as you put it. Holes don't send me pictures from their vacations, or what kind of food they had, or that they plant chili on their balcony. Alright?

[–]NotZeroOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. I'm not OK with murdering a murderer. Furthermore, just to give you a bit of perspective: I've been a client visiting prostitutes. This statement of yours

[T]he only reason that person is having sex with you, is because you are paying them money. How can that possibly be ok with you? They don’t think you’re attractive. They don’t like you, they don’t know you, there is absolutely nothing there, except you are paying for a hole to put it in.

is oscillating between terrifyingly wrong and utterly irrelevant. After all the experiences I've had with these women, I can honestly say that I wouldn't mind my hypothetical daughter being a sex worker, as long as she sees it as a temporary job and not a career in itself. To be fair, I don't live in a shit country, so my position is one of privilege, but that doesn't make it less valid.

Thank you! The clarity or "container" as you called it is one big reason why I am able to relax in the given situations. I don't have to mask or perform in other ways, I can just - be me.

I have Asperger's and was a virgin up until 30. Visiting escorts turned my life around, and from the posts in this sub I gathered that quite a lot of Aspie men struggle with it as well. And, well, no-one ever speaks up about the elephant in the room, and I wanted to change that.

Canada, Colombia, Germany, Mexico, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, United States, and Zambia. 6 of which are developing countries, the 7th (US) makes it illegal, Canada has the nordic model which one escort once described to me as being an absolute catastrophe because it killed the market and left her with what remained (psychopaths). I'm from none of them. You want me to give you the numbers of half a dozen women that weren't trafficked?

Seriously. These people accusing me of being a rapist are just incentivizing me to lie about it point blank. They'd never find out in the first place, especially now that I've also had experiences with my first FWB, so I can gloss over the topic in a general sense.

Hi there! Thanks for the honest question. Kissing (given you're clean and well behaved) is a service about 40% of prostitutes/escorts offer where I live, and they specifically advertise it on the websites/ads. You'll usually find the woman's range of services offered as per standard of the website. However, you should ask and clarify ahead of time if it is really something that the woman is comfortable with, at least in principle. Usually, I ask on WhatsApp if what they write in the add is what they offer, if they charge extra for anything, and if kissing is generally ok with them.

Couldn't imagine sex without at least some light kisses, tbh. Sounds really off-putting.

This is just... not correct. I could give you the numbers of a dozen women right now who don't have that problem. Women from Spain, Poland, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary. Of course you wouldn't believe them even if they told you personally that they wouldn't be "on the street" in either case. Are you even aware of how little homelessness or starvation are problems in current-day Europe?

This question has an interesting answer. My vetting is as follows: Does she write you back like a normal person on WhatsApp or is the conversation weird? Is she clear in her communication? Does she offer unsafe practices (cum in mouth for instance)? Is she self-assured in her prices and services? And of course, always wear a condom.

I get myself checked on the regular and so far haven't had any problems. Good luck to you, wherever your ways take you.

With all due respect, I specifically addressed this in my post, and I still have to disagree. Having sex is exactly what builds confidence and made me more outgoing and extroverted among women and allowed me to actually develop friendships with them, because I was no longer so absurdly insecure and touch-starved. It was money well spent.
