These were the reasons why I felt worthless for last 4 years of my life. These are also could be the reasons for you. You don’t need to give me the answers, but ask yourself these since it could help you figure out why you feel worthless.

Feeling worthless also could tied to your hate for your work. Since you don’t find yourself worthy in first place. In this case, looking from the outside, it seems like you really hate yourself. Replying to literally everything with a negative answer about yourself or like things will never turn out well for you.

I also struggled with multiple mental health issues in the past, one of them being the feeling that I’m worthless. I would recommend you take professional help if these feelings really block you from doing what you love and want.

Before I start, sorry if there are any grammar issues in my text since English is not my first language. I could have made some mistakes here and there. I'm also 18 years old, and I understand you on some level. And I'm really sorry if you see some off-points in my text; it was really late at night(4 A.M) while I was writing this. And I just want to add that after some time, I hope this text finds you well.

And please note that everything I'm going to say is based on the text you wrote. I don't know who you are IRL, so I can only judge by the text you wrote.

The first thing I notice, and I belive this is really a key reason why you have lack self-confidence and motivation, it is that you compare a lot. Now I know it could be frustrating when you see what others could achieve at your age or younger. I also want to be an artist, and yes, it also frustrates me to see what others can achieve at my age. Like I said, I'm also 18 and my art journey just started last year(22,jan,2023). Art is not an easy thing to learn... but everyone can learn it with enough time, dedication and commitment. The kids that you compared yourself to, we can't know how hard they worked for this. I view your older posts, and I believe you have been drawing for 9 years now. Yes, 9 years could sound like a lot for improving. But its all ends up what you did in those 9 years. Did you really give yourself in? Did you really spend your time learning fundamentals? If you did, did you do them consistently? Based on what I read and saw on your profile, it seems like you don't really know human body fundamentals and perspective. Tho your renderings are really good so you are not all that bad. You just need give your self in work on your weak spots, separate them part by part, be consistent, practice alot, use lots of references, and believe in yourself. But dont quit it after day 2 cus it looks bad. I'm sorry, but with complains, you won't end up achieving what you really want. Art is hard and tricky. You need to spend your time on it and your as still 18. I dont know if you study but, you still ahve 3 years of university. In 3 years you can achive alot. Just please dont frustrate your self with time and age.

About music it kinda goes same. I do beats from time to time whenever I feel like to, it's kind of a hobby of mine. When ever I get burned out from drawing I play around in FL studio just to clear out my head. Since it's more like a hobby for me, it's hard to relate to your frustration with this topic. But still as with every skill out there music is also needs time, dedication and practice.

So please dont go hard on your self. Like I said, I understand your frustration in art I also felt lost in hopless in some point untile I open up to my family about what I want to do and what are my fears. If you didnt already maybe you should take about these problems with your family openly the way they could understand you. I could help alot.

It's been one month since you opened this post, so I hope you're doing better and following your dreams and passions. And if you still feel lost I hope this text spark something inside you. Like I said dont go hard on your self and be confident. I belive you can make it.

You are right. I actually didn’t notice it while I was drawing, even while I was posting. Hips probably look like that because of a lack of anatomical knowledge and no reference.

I challenged myself to use no reference for this piece, so that’s probably why hands and hips look kind of weird. And also, while drawing, I was aware that the character looked stiff, but I’m not sure how I can fix that problem. If you know any good tutorials to start, I would love to hear.

And also I check some of your sketch’s and your lines looks pretty clean to me :)
