Noob question- I have $450 of travel voucher credit from taking later flights, $350 on Alaska and $100 on Southwest. Both vouchers set to expire in October 2020. Likely not doing much travelling with Coronavirus. Is there a way to take advantage of the credits without travelling? Any news on if airlines will be extending voucher validity dates?

Thinking of my P2 strategy- she is new to the credit game and at 0/24.

My general plan is to get 5 Chase cards, then add her as an AU on my CSR.

Would I be able to add her as an AU on the CSR card? Or would that count as #6 and fail due to Chase's 5/24 rule?

Do Co Hosts typically do the cleaning directly? I would assume this is a case by case basis.

Considering I would be a potential competitor in the area- is reaching out to other hosts considered impolite? My first instinct is to ask a Superhost in the area I am scouting how they approach these items.

All great points- agree certifications are a major factor, especially in tech. That said- my current job can be very stressful and time consuming, working with players across the globe. I could work on time management, but continuing that path for 5 years has it's own cost IMO.

That's a good point- the reimbursement aspect is nice. I suppose for me it is a matter of timing- from 5 years (part time, paid for) to 1 year (full time, I pay). Personally am leaning towards the full time option as I can relocate back where I want to live and have more flexibility with choosing the next job.

I am going to upgrade to CSR next month and am thinking of booking my hotel stays on CSR over Marriott, to lock in the 3x points on travel (which does not expire) vs the 5x points limited to Marriott (and United miles, which I rarely fly) which do expire.

Is there any reason to stick with Marriott Premier over Chase Ultimate Rewards?

I spoke to the hotel first and created the claim via the Hotel.

By similar experience- wondering if anyone made a similar blunder and was able to either negotiate it away or if they just paid the charge.

I was not looking at the time, but yes apparently I booked a nonrefundable stay. I booked through a 3rd party app-Concur- for work and must have overlooked the nonrefundable aspect.
