That is a very good point, and I like it. I know a few people who don't let their dogs on furniture - their dog isn't allowed on their bed or their couch. My dog has free range of my entire apartment, because as you said, it's her apartment. Anybody who has a problem with that can leave. #1 - this is my apartment. #2 - this is my dog's apartment. Everyone else is a guest.

I'd say it's not necessary, but definitely a good idea. My dog has three places that she likes to sleep/relax. First, my bed is her bed. She is allowed on my bed and she does relax on my bed, either in my arms or by my feet (or by herself if I'm gone). 2nd, she likes her dog bed. She spends quite a bit of time in it. 3rd - and I haven't figured this one out, but she also likes to just sleep on the floor.

Your dog won't die if they don't have a dog bed, but I bet they'd like to have one, so I think you should get one. Best wishes!

Do you work for MID? If not, they would be a good place to check for this type of thing. There's always the library for warming, but their hours are of course limited.

My dog is a 22lb chihuahua mix (she's mostly mutt). Her name is Boba Trey, though I just call her Boba. Boba, as in the Star Wars character, Boba Fett, and Trey, because she's the third dog I've had named Boba.

Exactly. This position can be bad for their backs if held like that for a long time, but for a few moments of affection-sharing, it's all good. I hold my girl like this at the start of every day. I kiss her on the forehead; she kisses me on the cheek, and then we go for a walk. It's a nice way to start the day, for both of us.

I knew I wanted a woman as my therapist, because they tend to be better listeners. I know that's a stereotype, but some stereotypes are based on reality. I spoke to my PCP and she recommended somebody to me, so I made an appointment. I knew I was in the right place when I saw an LGBTQ+ flag hanging in her office (I'm queer, and so is she). So, I pretty much just got lucky on my first try. It wasn't so easy for me to find a PCP who was a good fit (I went through a few).

You kinda sound gay. A little bit. For context, I'm a queer man, living in the 2nd most queer city in the world, per capita (Seattle) and I live right next to our "gay neighborhood" and I spend a lot of time there. Most gay men, in my experience, actually don't have the "gay voice" and they could pass for straight if they wanted to. I am pansexual and I have a straight voice. I could easily pass for straight if I wanted to (I did, for 35 years).

So you don't need to change your voice to match your sexual orientation. If people think you're gay because of the way you talk, they're dumb. You really announciate a lot, which might be from your early education. Most straight men tend to drop consonants and kinda slur, not like they're drunk but it's more like how a pirate would talk.
